Villa Yeke

From design to construction

Located in Mercan, in Istanbul’s Tuzla district, Villa Yeke was approached as a cohesive project from architectural design through to construction. A.A.Y Mimarlık undertook the architectural design, obtained the building permit and carried out construction in collaboration with Thor İnşaat. The design and construction were completed in 2022–2023, and the villa stands today as one of our completed buildings.

The design brings together a dark pitched roof, white façade surfaces and grey stone cladding. Timber soffits and dark window and door frames complete the material palette, while planting on the balcony extends the building’s connection with the garden onto the façade. Deep eaves make light and shade part of the design at the entrance and along the façades.
